Evil: God’s Problem (and Ours)

Many thoughtful people have wondered, why does God allow so much suffering in the world? Philosophers call this “the problem of evil” and it is this question that has led many to atheism, or to no longer believe in a traditional understanding of God. We will consider some different religious and non-religious responses. How do we wrestle with this question as Unitarian-Universalists living in the world today? Speaker: Hannah Schell
