February is Black History Month. As Unitarians we go into this month with much to be proud of: Our newly adopted Eighth Principle, a long history of fighting for justice and equality, our own martyrs and heroes in the struggle for Civil Rights. But what are the practicalities of the Long Walk to Freedom, in fighting the scourge of racism? Would we be prepared for that brave new world? Where we deal not with abstract ideals but with new realities, new joys, new freedoms and new challenges.
