Becoming a Volunteer Program Facilitator
The Unitarian Congregation of Guelph creates and develops much of its program offerings with Volunteer Facilitators who generosity offer their time and talents.
In 2009, The Unitarian Congregation of Guelph formally implemented a safe steps policy with the intention of being proactive with respect to the safety and wellbeing of its members. You can read the Safe Steps Policy here.
In 2020, UCG furthered this work with the implementation of our sister Program Policy. This document aims to ensure that:
Our facilitators have attend UCG for at least 6 months, have provided a clear police check, completed an interview process, and provided references.
